grunts of Wimbledon
champions

little record

all the grunts
are different
from each other

they’re like
snowflakes

they’re fun

I forget which
is which

it’s an old and
scratchy record

and black

I like the sound
a tennis ball can
makes when you
open it

and the smell, oh
the smell
