OCTOBER 24, 2009

TUESDAY in my dreams

When I died, I was in a bus station and I asked the elderly lady who was taking care of me to sit on the little leather sofa next to me rather than facing me because I didn’t want to sit there all by myself.

MONDAY at the movies

Watching A GOOD WOMAN tonight I kept saying OSCAR WILDE OSCAR WILDE OSCAR WILDE and then the credits rolled and they read: “Based on a story by Oscar Wilde” and I said “I told you so!” to me.

SUNDAY, with KATHERINE HEPBURN & EDMUND GWENN & THE GREAT ARCHITECT, LOUIS KAHN

TODAY I HEARD

‘You’re foaming, my dear”

“No I’m not”

“Yes you are – more than you think”

Katherine Hepburn / Edmund Gwenn “tetradyte” v. K.H.08

••

Today I meant to look up the word TETRADYTE in the dictionary to see if it was a real word because Katherine Hepburn acted like it was a real word in UNDERCURRENT and so did Edmund Gwenn who played her Dad in UNDERCURRENT but I was not convinced because it sounds only almost real.

••

“How accidental our lives are,” Louis kahn said, “and full of influence by circumstance.”

SATURDAY

Today I remembered that when I was younger and I saw letters with integers and strange greek symbols with numbers that I used to get really really excited and now I just get scared and wonder where I can hide.
